Munnar is a town located in the Idduki district of India's Kerala state, situated in the south Western Ghats of India, the name Munnar usually refers to the whole tourist area of the Idukki District of which the town forms only a small part.The name Munnar is believed to be derived from the Malayalam/Tamil words Munu (three) and aaru (river), referring to the town's strategic location at the confluence of the Muthirappuzha, Nallathanni and Kundaly rivers. The Munnar panchayat in the Devikulam block is the largest panchayat in the Idduki district having an area measuring nearly 557 km². Essentially a pass ; the area around Munnar is surrounded by vast jungles and remains wet and cold during most of the year.

Day 01: Cochin – Munnar

Pick up from Cochin Airport/Ernakulam Railway station drive to Hotel. Checks in at Hotel and after the fresh up go for local sightseeing. See the historic Dutch Palace – a tribute to the relationship between the two cultures during the previous centuries. We will also see the only Jewish Synagogue in India at Mattancherry; only one direct descendant of the family that set up this shrine is now alive. Later visit, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, Chinese Fishing nets, Dutch Cemetery, and the Fort Cochin beach. The remaining time is free for you to Shopping. Day 02: Munnar

After breakfast drive to Munnar. Check in to resort. Relax at hotel and enjoy overnight at Resort.

Day 03: Munnar

After breakfast, full day sight seeing at Munnar – Mattupetty, Pothanmedu, Devikulam, Pallivasal, Eravikulam National Park - home to the endangered mountain goat species, the Nilgiri Tahr. Return back to hotel. Enjoy overnight at Resort.

Day 04: Check out from the Resort and drive to Cochin and drop at Airport/Railway station.
